Default Best "Noobie" Classes?

I pretty much don't play RPG, or MMORPGs, at all, never have. I did watch my friend play this game though, and I am going to buy it.

My question is: What classes to you reccommend for a newbie like me? nothing advanced, but one that I can still have lots of fun with.

I DID search, but I am not the best at searching, so if this topic has been brought up before, forgive me.

Thanks!

Warrior if you like to hit things.
Ranger if you like to shoot things.

Warrior/Monk is a very popular build...not sure if I would call it a noob build or not, but it has the ability to hurt things and heal yourself. That at least helps

There is no best noob class or profession. When building a characxter think of the role you want to play in a group. Then build a character based on that.

I wanted to heal people and serve as a counter buff. So I chose Monk/Mesmer.

My next character I want to counter and shoot stuff drom a distance. So, Mesmer/Ranger would be the choice. All characters are balanced. Just choose. You can't screw up.

that would be a cool way of picking. extremely random. ( ill try it if they decide to upp the character count creation from 4 to 6 or more, since ive planned what to do w/ each charac already. )

but again. each charac class is ez to learn how to play @ start, cuz thats what the pre-sear was made for. all classes are pretty competitively abled @ start area.(ive tried em @ beta)

Exclamation My recommendation

I would recommend going to this part of the forum.
They have been kind enough to list all the classes with some pre-made builds that would work great for you.
It takes alot of the guess work out.
